These skidding tongs really do the job. They are built tough and look like they'll last alot longer than I will. I've used them to skid large and smsller logs out of a deep wet ditch and they didn't let me down. A great buy!

as usual your co. did good job with shipping but the timber tuff o2 swivel is a poor example of a china made copy of a good old AMERICAN product just today was thinking that I should try to return them but that would probably be more trouble than it would be worth this tool may be ok for a yuppie once in awhile user but as far as being used by a 65 yr. old retired farmer slash truck driver the only thing they would be really good for is put points in bucket of wet concrete when dry add rope to swivel would be decent anchor

Great product especially for the price. The color of the tongs stands out in the woods so it's easy to retrieve; seems like it would stand out in the dark as well. Very tough product & used it straight away out of the box to test it; grips well and withstands a lof of force. The swivel head it has is a very smart addition; this feature saves your cable or rope from twisting and fraying so much to the point of breakage/unusable. Within reason, anything the jaws will get around, you can pull. No slippage while pulling logs noted(and don't expect any; digs into logs very well).

Timber Tuff log skidding tongs are a quick and easy way to skid logs. Simply place tongs on the end of the log or pole and hook to a chain. As you apply pressure, the tong end points will dig into the log for a secure grip. These skidding tongs have a swivel hook that attaches to 3/8" chain.
